Theme for 2025: Feminist Response in Tumultuous Times.

The time we are experiencing right now is, is in a word – surreal. And in playing with some new watercolors on a huge piece of paper I painted this image I see as we drive west through the rolling hills of northwestern Illinois – where farm fields meet huge beautiful skies. I imagine what it is like to be a farmer. And that you must nurture the seeds you plant to harvest anything.

With this in mind – my imagination wandered to a very surreal place: planting seeds of humanity.
